001. the basics:

[/i] first of all, be considerate and follow the rules. it's not necessary that you like them, but you must follow them in order to have the site sailing smoothly, and therefore we must warn you that if you break the rules, there will be consequences. please be nice, as everyone on the site deserves respect, so kindly treat others the way you wish to be treated. we do not tolerate racism, hatred, or harassment. do not spam, and do not steal - people have worked really hard on their graphics and post, and it'd be rude and improper to steal. this site is also canon only until farther notice, but if you have a reason why you need to create an original character pm an admin about it.

002. on characters: only one character per account, and yes, this involves twins and triplets. when making your characters, keep in mind that no one is perfect - we do not want mary-sues and billy-sues, as those characters are annoying at best. also, diversity is encouraged - when making multiple characters, it would be lovely if they each had a different background, different character. diversity is not only fun, but original. we have no limits for the amount of characters you can make, just as long as all of them are active. and by active, i mean your character needs to post in any of the role play boards at least once every three weeks.

003. on roleplaying: third person, past tense only, except in the case of owl post. we are not grammar sharks, but as this is an intermediate, literate site, please keep grammar mistakes to a minimum. please don't use ridiculously bright or flashy colors when posting, they are difficult to read and irritating for the eyes, and might make people unwilling to respond. absolutely no god-modding, or power-play. the only circumstances you can do this under is with the permission of the member you're roleplaying with.

004. graphics:[/i] we allow model/celebrities only as face-claims. signatures with inappropriate images would be deleted without warning. understand that the site is pg-13 rated, and use your common sense to know what is and isn't allowed. please make sure your signature does not stretch the page.

005. on chat-box:[/i] advertising is not allowed in the c-box. no fighting, or we'd have to remove the cbox. we wouldn't like that, so please, if you have a problem, solve it outside the site, do not bring it here. or you could always pm an admin, and we'll see what we can do. please do not bug members to reply to your threads in the cbox. just be patient and try to bear with them till they post for you. also, the cbox doesn't deserve to be filled with harsh comments. it does not deserve to be misused an abused, either. so if you have any concerns, regarding the site or otherwise, kindly pm an admin and keep the cbox out of it.

006. activity: we know you have a life, so we do not expect you to be online 24/7. however, roleplaying is codependancy, and if you cannot reply for the threads you're involved in, it would greatly disadvantage those who are role playing with you. so please reply to your threads at least once every two weeks unless you're on leave. activity checks will be run every once in a while, so please make sure your account has an application attached to it, otherwise we'd have to delete it. members who have not posted with their accounts in three weeks would be deleted, unless you're on absence leave. if you are going to be inactive for a while, we have a board for it, so please let us know when you're going to go missing, otherwise you might not be able to save your characters.
