RULES,
GENERAL: be considerate, and follow the rules. you don't necessarily have to like them, but you need to follow them, thank you very much. if you break the rules, there will be consequences. we'll start out with a warning, and if you are still step over the line, we will be forced to ban you. please be nice. everyone on this site deserves respect. we do not tolerate racism, hatred, or harassment against any member/character on the site. if you cannot follow this rule, you will immediately be banned. if you have a problem with a member, do not bring it to the site - if you must, please pm an admin and let them resolve the issue for you.
COURTESY: do not steal. three words, not too much to ask for. people have worked really hard on their graphics/posts, it would be rude and improper to steal. not to mention disrespectful and low. so don't run away with graphics and posts from this site and post it somewhere else - it is not nice.
CHARACTERS: only one character per account - yes, even for twins and triplets. no one is perfect, just something you need to keep in mind when making characters. no mary-sues and billy-sues, because the bottom line is, those characters are annoying at best. keep in mind, diversity. when making multiple characters, it would be lovely if they each had a different background, different character. diversity is not only fun, but original.
ACTIVITY: keep your characters active. we know you have a life, so we do not expect you to be online 24/7. however, roleplaying is codependancy, and if you cannot reply for the threads you're involved in, it would greatly disadvantage those who are role playing with you. so please reply to your threads at least once every two weeks unless you're on leave.
ROLEPLAYING: you have to be accepted to roleplay, so kindly wait for an admin to consider your application before you start posting. please do not badger admins to look at your app - we have a life, and it might take a while for us to do so, but we assure you we will get to it as soon as we can. post in third person, past tense only, unless for owl post. no explicit contents. this site is pg-13 rated. if you're going to use explicit content, use a fade to black scenario. we are not grammar sharks, but keep spelling and grammar mistakes to as minimum as possible, it makes the post that much more appealing. please don't use ridiculously bright or flashy colors when posting, they are difficult to read and irritating for the eyes, and might make people unwilling to respond. no god-modding, or power-play. the only circumstances you can do this under is with the permission of the member you're roleplaying with. we've a word limit of 200, respect it.
GRAPHICS: avatars can be 100x100 or 100x150. signatures with inappropriate images would be deleted without warning. understand that the site is pg-13 rated, and use your common sense to know what is and isn't allowed. please make sure your signature does not stretch the page.
