001. ANIMAL I HAVE BECOME
remus lupin & hestia jones remus lupin - the resident werewolf and the rather unusual boy who likes to burrow himself in books when he's not with his fellow marauders - isn't the dating type. but once in a blue moon things happen, and remus asked out the ravenclaw he'd been infatuated with, hestia jones, to go out with him. to his delight she accepted, and they had a brief bittersweet affair which remus ended on terms of his neglecting his studies. hestia was left broken hearted, but she may have been able to get over it had she not discovered she was pregnant - with remus's baby, or cub if you may. hestia decides to keep the baby, but she doesn't tell anyone that she's pregnant until it starts to show. can remus keep his secret, and spare the world of a werewolf hybrid?

002. PLAYING WITH FIRE
bellatrix black & rodolphous lestrange
& peter pettigrew bellatrix black is besotted with the mysterious, elusive young man called rodolphous lestrange - his dark charm keeps her on her toes and his detached nature keeps her coming back for more. the two share a complicated relationship, with bellatrix doting on rodolphous 24/7, and rodolphous being less than impressed by her efforts. bellatrix loses her haughty, cruel demeanor around the one person who treats her as though she was filth, less than a mudblood - and their sadomasochistic relationship has lasted three months in the making. when angry, or simply bored, rodolphous isn't beyond abusing bellatrix, and she takes it because she claims she's deeply in love with him.
peter pettigrew, however, strongly dislikes the way bellatrix is being treated. under tom's guiding hands he had begun to spend more and more time with the slytherins - hoping against hope that the marauders won't notice - and bellatrix black had taken him under her wing to teach him the dark arts in order to please tom riddle, whom she greatly respects. peter has no natural flair for the dark arts, which in turn leads to bellatrix and peter spending more and more time together, and when he discovers the bruises on her body he's outraged, but bellatrix's coldly refuses to break things off with rodolphous when peter begs her to. peter is torn - could he be the savior of bellatrix, or were bellatrix and rodolphous meant to be?

003. CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT
the greyback clan everyone knows about fenrir greyback - the notorious werewolf is famous for his savagery and preference to attack little kids. fenrir greyback's made it his life's mission to create create enough werewolves to overcome wizards. he bites and contaminates just about any unfortunate soul that gets in his way - and this meant turning his family, too. to date, fenrir greyback has turned nine members of the greyback family, and they stick together as hunters that come out every full moon to shed innocent blood and create new victims for themselves. their animalistic savagery strikes fear into the hearts of anyone who'd ever heard of them, as they know that the greyback's would stop at nothing. they have pledged allegiance to tom riddle in return of more pray's when tom takes over the wizarding world, and while tom stays at hogwarts disguised as a mere teacher, they greybacks do most of the dirty work for him outside the castle walls.

004. TROUBLE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD
sirius black & regulus black
& riley d'eath it's common knowledge that the black brothers do not get along - ever since sirius, the 'black sheep' of the family, was sorted into gryffindor, he became an outcast to the family. regulus black found upon being sorted into slytherin that him and his brother were too different to make it work as siblings, and the two stopped talking for quite sometime. however, their brotherly bond was too much to let family squabbles get in the way and the two began talking again, even though it bothered each of the brother's friends.
but you thought the black brother's story had an unhappy ending? well, you were right. the two were destined to fall apart, they just needed a little push in the wrong direction. this is when riley d'eath enters the picture. best friends with regulus since they started at hogwarts, the friendship was destined to blossom into romance at some point, and it did in their fourth year.
although sirius knew riley for the entirety of her friendship with regulus, reg had forgotten to mention the pair had been dating for about a year, and sirius being sirius, made a move on her. thing is, she didn't stop him, nor did she mention that she was involved with his brother, and before anyone knew what was happening, riley was secretly dating both brothers.
so what will happen? who knows, all we can be sure of, is that there was a bigger reason between the black brother's fall out.

005. ANOTHER MESSY ENDING
james potter & lily evans & severus snape
& sebastian fawcett & sarai ackerly when they were younger, lily and james couldn't stand each other, but over the years james began to develop feelings for the fiery red-head. he chose to be obvious about it, sending her notes, asking her out every other night, openly flirting with her - but to no avail. lily was determined not to cave, but james was a stubborn one. he'd tease lily, annoy her, pull her hair and write her sweet love notes, get turned down and feel terrible, go on a date and feel better, and be at it the next day.
then, things changed. one day, a love note he'd written to lily fell into the wrong hands - sarai ackerly, a hufflepuff sixth year who happened to be sitting next to lily during herbology. sarai, who had for the most part of her life blended into the background, was flattered to find that james potter, quidditch player extraordinaire, might be interested in her, and she began writing back to him. james was delighted, thinking that lily was returning his affections at last. in between passing notes to 'lily' he'd hit on lily evans more and more, which both confused and frustrated the girl.
'lily' and james keep up this love affair for quite a while before james discovers that it isn't lily, but sarai ackerly. by then he's in too deep to back out, and james finds himself in a relationship with a hufflepuff, his pride getting in the way of any escape possible. when lily finds out that james is seriously involved with another girl, she seeks comfort in severus, trusting him to be much more reliable than james. however, when she finds out that he's way too involved with the creepy new teacher at hogwarts - tom riddle - she backs off, distancing herself from him.
lily - a member of the slug club - meets the slytherin seventh year sebastian fawcett at one of the meetings. he'd shamelessly flirt with her much in the same way that james potter did, and out of a desire for a rebound agrees to go out with him sometime. on their date, sebastian was the perfect gentleman - up until the point where he tried to force himself onto her. terrified, lily managed to escape after cursing him, and found james potter in the common room, waiting for her.

006. A LOVE STORY
romeo cuffe & juliet mckinnon
& leonardo mckinnon we all know this story - romeo and juliet, children of two warring families, meet and fall in love. they begin to date, hoping their love would one day end the feud between the two families. yet the cuffe's and the macmillans hatred for each other is centuries old, so romeo and juliet decide to take it slow, and keep their affair a secret. however, the relationship was doomed when juliet's brother, leonardo, found out about it, and he challenged romeo to a duel - but romeo was less than willing to fight someone he considered almost kin. leonardo beseeched juliet to end things with romeo, but she refused, trying to make leonardo understand what romeo means to her. leonardo forces the two star crossed lovers to part - is this the end of their love, or is their love strong enough to make it?

007. THE SWEETEST SERENADE
frank longbottom & alice logan
& fenrir greyback frank and alice - alice and frank. it's impossible to see the one without the other, as alice and frank have been inseparable ever since they were crib-playmates. they grew up together, anticipated their letter for hogwarts together, rode the train together, attended seven years at hogwarts together, studied for tests together, did their homework together, went to hogsmeade together - well, honestly, i can't remember a thing that they did not do together. they were very attached to each other, and during their sixth year at hogwarts frank found he was developing feelings for his best girlfriend - on her sixteenth, birthday he took her for a picnic out in the grounds with firewhiskey, and they ended up making out. but alice had had too much to drink and she started retching all over frank, and freaking out, he took her to the hospital wing where madam pomfrey pumped the alchohol out of her stomach. she woke up to frank holding her hand at her sick bedside, and crabby about the hangover she was having, she'd insisted that she wanted to forget all about the night before. she didn't remember kissing him - frank thought he was so terrible that she simply did not want to remember kissing him, so he never mentioned it again.
everyone thinks they're meant to be, but the two just don't see it.
they're nineteen now, both training to be auroras. one night after working late, alice was on her way to meet frank because she'd promised to have a drink with him as they hadn't seen much of each other of late, she caught the eye of fenrir greyback. the moon was almost full, fenrir wasn't a werewolf, but alice was pretty and he wanted her. alice stood her ground even as fenrir draw her into a corner, but she did not have much chance of escape as fenrir had the physical upper hand on the situation, and he'd disarmed her of her wand too. she might have been bitten, horribly disfigured, or raped and left for dead hadn't it been for frank turning up at that moment. he'd been worried when she'd been late, and he'd taken the path he figured she was most likely to take when he stumbled across the scene. the furious rage that gripped him at seeing alice helplessly backed into a corner compelled him to shoot fenrir away with a flick of his wand, and he too alice in his arms and disapparated from the spot, determined to come back for fenrir later after attending to alice.
it was the first time alice had seen frank as a man, and not just as the boy who used to play in the dirt with her when they were younger. and that's when she decides to give him a chance to be more than her best friend forever.
